Welcome to IAM Food, the Agritech farm that produces quality, hygienic, safe and pesticide-free leafy vegetables, crops and melons. We use three (3) innovative systems to grow our produces; Aquaponics, Fertigation and Outdoor Natural Farming.

Let me tell you our story…….

Back in November 2019, we got a plot of land at Lot A2-1, KKP Tungku Rimba. We had a vision of building a main building and a greenhouse where we could use Aquaponics to grow our crops. Aquaponics is a system that combines fish farming and hydroponics, creating a symbiotic relationship between the plants and the fish. The fish waste provides nutrients for the plants, and the plants filter the water for the fish. It’s a win-win situation!

We submitted our site plan to ABCi and got their approval. We started our first piling in June 2020 and completed it by late 2020. Occupation Permit is issued to us in December, 2020. We managed to set up and get the Aquaponics running in July 2021 and we were ready to start planting and growing our crops!

But we did not stop there. We wanted to expand our production and diversify our products. We looked into more greenhouses where we could grow melons and chilis using precision farming, Fertigation. Fertigation is a system that delivers precise amount of water and nutrients to the plants through drip irrigation. This way, we can optimize the growth and quality of our crops while saving water and fertilizer.

Now we have more than six (6) greenhouses and our I.O.T. system is running. I.O.T. stands for Internet of Things, which means we can monitor and control our systems remotely using sensors and devices connected to the internet. This gives us more flexibility and efficiency in managing our farm.

We are proud of what we have achieved so far, but we are not done yet. We have a big vision for IAMFood. We want to capture the whole local market and also export our melons to other countries. We want to be one of the market players that contribute to the local community and the global economy. We want to share our quality, hygienic, safe and pesticide-free products with everyone.

That’s why we are planning to build more greenhouses at Phase 2 of our project. We want to increase our production capacity and variety of produces. We want to be consistent in our supply and keep innovating, improving our systems and processes. IAM Food is more than just a business. It’s a family. It’s a passion. It’s a dream come true.
