Greetings from IAM Food! We are thrilled to share our exciting journey with you, showcasing how we produce quality, hygienic, safe, and pesticide-free leafy vegetables, crops, and melons right here on our farm.

Our story began in November 2019, when we were awarded a plot of land at KKP Tungku, Kg Tungku by MPRT. We had a bold vision: to build a main building and a greenhouse using an innovative system called Aquaponics. Even amidst the COVID-19 lockdown, we pressed forward, submitting our farm design to ABCi and receiving approval in March 2020.

Here’s a look at our journey to harvest:
* We started our first piling in June 2020 and successfully completed the main greenhouse, consisting of MGHA, MGHB, and MGHC, by November 2020.
* Our Occupation Permit was issued in December 2020, followed by power and water connectivity in January 2021.
* The main greenhouse setup was completed in March 2021.
* And, the moment we had been working towards: our Aquaponics system was up and running by July 2021, leading to our first leafy vegetables harvest in the very same month!

But we didn’t stop there! We are proud to utilize three innovative systems to grow our produce:
* Aquaponics: This is a truly symbiotic system that combines fish farming and hydroponics. The fish waste provides essential nutrients for our plants, and in return, the plants naturally filter the water for the fish. It’s a perfect win-win situation!.
* Fertigation (also known as Soilless Precision Irrigation): To expand our production, we introduced this system in more greenhouses. Fertigation delivers precise amounts of water and nutrients directly to the plants through drip irrigation. This method optimizes the growth and quality of our crops, all while saving water and fertilizer. We use this system especially for our delicious melons, chilis and tomatoes.
* Outdoor Natural Farming: We also integrate this traditional method into our farm operations.

Today, we proudly operate more than 10 greenhouses, and across Phase 1 and Phase 2. Our entire operation is powered by an advanced Internet of Things (I.O.T.) system. This means we can monitor and control our systems remotely using smart sensors and devices connected to the internet, giving us incredible flexibility and efficiency in managing the farm.

Come see the variety we grow! Our produce includes leafy vegetables, various crops, and a range of melons such as One Plant One Fruit Melon Royale; Golden Melon (known for being sweet and crunchy), and mini Japanese Watermelon. We also cultivate fresh chilis and tomatoes.

Looking ahead, we have a big vision for IAM Food! We aim to capture the entire local market and even export our amazing melons to other countries. We are constantly planning to build more greenhouses in Phase 3 of our project to significantly increase our production capacity and variety of produce, ensuring a consistent supply for everyone.
